In 2009, we came across an orphanage in Jakarta. The children lived in a slum, 3 meters away from a railroad track. Overwhelmed by the poor living conditions, we told our children about this. Our dream of helping underprivileged children in Indonesia became concrete on the spot: together with our children and their friends we founded the Orphan a Child Foundation. Gradually it became clear that we had our own vision. Therefore, we decided to start our own children's home in Malang on Java. In addition to the orphanage, we also started a hostel, with the goal of using the income from this to finance the orphanage.
Currently, 15 children reside in our children's home. We teach them to dream about a future, but also want to give them the opportunity to realize their dreams. Our vision is to give children not only a home, but a home from which they can work on their future. We are convinced that education can break the cycle of poverty.
10 of our children have now graduated and 2 are currently still studying at university. We see them growing up into young adults who know what they want to do with their future.
And that's what we do it for!

Founders Orphan a Child Foundation
Supporting orphanages in need with resources and management so that a humane living situation is created for the children and future prospects are restored to them.
Our initial focus is on our orphanage in Malang, Indonesia. The assistance is aimed at making the orphanage self-sufficient in the final situation and allowing the orphanage management to act independently.
To make a substantial difference in the future prospects of the children, we would like to emphasize the following themes. - Housing (shelter, basic furnishing) - Nutrition - Medical care (dentist, family doctor, medication, optician) - Education -Professionalization of the organization (daily supervision) -Leisure
In order to achieve the objective, vision and mission, the foundation's activities first focus primarily on fundraising and ensuring brand awareness. Raising money is done primarily through collections and seeking regular donors.
